Here's what they think about you....

So, when I got laid off, they told me it was NOT based on my productivity or my work. I was doing a great job, purely economics. FFWD to now (4months later) they fired someone the other day. I was told by my boy that they said they are looking for someone else to do the job. Then I get a call on my phone, thought they came to their senses. They said "we want someone faster, more experienced." Oh really? More experienced than the person that WORKED IN THE OFFICE DOING THE JOB? FASTER THAN SOMEONE WHO PUT UP 22 PRODUCTION ORDERS IN HALF A DAY? REALLY? wooosaaaaah, here's where I REALLY got pissed. "But I do have a job opportunity for you. We need some templates made for some new products coming in, it would be a temporary job...I can't promise even a solid weeks worth of work, but we are thinking it will be anywhere from one week to 4 weeks. We WILL be interviewing someone else for the job permanently though, and you are welcome to apply."

Oh really, am I welcome to apply? Now, I don't do the job fast enough nor am I experienced enough to warrant a perm position, you can't promise me even a solid weeks worth of scrap work, and you want me to come into those relationships and routine to help you out? You want me to fuck up my unemployment (the little I have left) so that I can come in and help you out? Thanks, but no thanks.

If this was a relationship, you just told me that "Sorry, I don't want you as my man, but you can come by and paint my toenails for me until I find a man. You wanna do that?"

Fuck outta here.....

bitches.
